Terms of Service
These Terms describe how you may use ResumeNest and what you can expect in return. By opening the builder or browsing the site, you agree to use the tool responsibly, review your documents carefully, and understand that resume outcomes always depend on your own content, qualifications, and the hiring process.
1. Acceptance Of These Terms
By accessing or using ResumeNest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the app. If you are using ResumeNest on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Purpose Of The Service
ResumeNest provides static resume templates, a browser-based editor, structure guidance, PDF export, and JSON-managed site content. The service is intended to help you draft, format, and export resumes or CVs. It does not submit job applications for you and does not represent employers, recruiters, schools, immigration authorities, or government agencies.
3. Your Account & Access
The core app has no account system. You can build and export a resume without registering, logging in, or providing an email address. Access to the service is provided free of charge; the site owner may, however, configure optional third-party scripts such as analytics or advertising. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the browser and device you use.
4. User Responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy, honesty, and legality of all information you enter.
- You should review spelling, dates, contact details, links, claims, credentials, and exported PDFs before sending them.
- You should adapt templates to the requirements of the specific employer, industry, platform, and country where you apply.
- You must not use ResumeNest to create misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
5. No Employment Guarantee
ResumeNest can improve formatting and presentation, but it cannot guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary outcomes, visa results, admission decisions, recruiter responses, or compatibility with every hiring platform. Hiring decisions are made by third parties and depend on many factors outside this app.
6. Your Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of all the career information and text you enter into the builder. You grant ResumeNest no license to use your personal content beyond what is strictly necessary to render your preview and export your file, which happens locally in your browser. Because drafts are stored on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups of important documents.
7. Templates And Exports
Templates are provided for drafting and personal or professional use. You may export and use resumes created with the app for your own job search or career materials. You may not resell the app, redistribute the template library as your own product, or use the site in a way that attempts to disrupt, scrape, overload, copy, or abuse the service.
8. Payment
The core features of ResumeNest — browsing templates, editing content, live preview, and PDF export — are provided free of charge. There are no paid tiers required to download a resume. If a deployment introduces optional paid services in the future, those will be governed by separate, clearly disclosed terms.
9. Third-Party Services
The app may reference fonts, icons, export libraries, advertising scripts, analytics, or other third-party resources depending on deployment. Those services operate under their own terms and policies. Site operators are responsible for configuring third-party code lawfully and for providing any additional disclosures required in their jurisdiction.
10. Disclaimers
ResumeNest is provided “as-is” and “as-available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or hiring platform, or that exported documents will satisfy the requirements of any particular employer.
11. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost opportunities; lost profits; data loss; or hiring outcomes related to use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to every user.
12. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change. Continuing to use ResumeNest after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is significant, we encourage you to re-read the document before relying on it.
